Met Keira? We'd love to know the tale. E-mail me and we'll post it up.

I was flying to Hawaii summer 2006, and our plane stopped in LA to
get more gas or something of that sort. We were allowed to walk
around the terminal. I went to a small store that served bagels and
Keira was right behind me. At first I was too nervous to say anything
but then I turned around and said goodmorning and that I didn't mean
to disturb her. She said hello back, and we talked to for about 20
minutes, took pictures, and then she asked "do you happen to have
aim?" I was very excited and answered yes. She gave me her screename
and then took mine. Then, she had to go, kissed me on the cheeck and
left. I still to this day, talk to her call her on her phone, and go
to all her premiers. Keira is the nicest woman ever! I talk to her
maybe once a month or once every two months on the phone. I talk to
her one for about an hour every 2 weeks or so.

Just wanted to let you all know that I met Keira yesterday (March 22nd) at a shopping center in Montréal (Canada). Pure coincidence: I had read somewhere that morning that Keira’s birthday was March 22nd, so when I crossed her path in the store I smiled at her and said :”Happy Birthday” discreetly. She smiled back and said thank you. I didn’t ask her for her autograph or anything because I did not want to bother her while she was shopping. I don’t know what she’s doing in Montréal, but meeting her put a little excitement in my day!

My friend met Keira at "Bagel Street" in Hampstead a few months ago, i
think
this was when she was looking for a flat. He bumped into her buying a
coffee
and has a photo of her with him on his phone! So lucky, wish it had
been me!
Tiffany
My name is Tiffany and I met Keira a few days ago here in Los Angeles,
CA,.
I too am an actress and I belong to SAG, the Screen Actors Guild of
America
and starting now they have something called Conversations. They invite
SAG
members to come and screen new films that are coming out and then they
usually have one if not all of the stars of the film there after to do
a Q &
A. Well last Sunday it was for "Pride and Prejudice" and it was just
Keira
who was going to be there. First of all the movie is FANTASTIC! I LOVED
it
and the Q & A with Keira was amazing. She was so kind and so good with
all
her answers. After the Q & A we got to talk to her one on one and take
photos with her as well. She was so amazing and I hope I have the
opportunity to work with her one day. It would be an honor to be on
screen
with with such an amazing talent.

I went to go see the Gala screening of Pride and Prejudice at Roy
Thompson
Hall. Since the film is rated, and it's not on the true movie-buff's
go-see-list my friends and I knew that we would have a good chance of
getting a ticket by joining the rush line. Well, anyway I went out
exploring
and got a place near the fence on the red carpet with one of friends.
Then,
just at that moment, an SUV arrived and out popped Keira. She walked
over to
all the people on the other side of the street and started signing
autographs, but was informed that she had to speek to the television
crews
all lined up under the tent. But she kept signing for a bit and
eventually
came to me, initialled my picture of her, all the while saying, "oh, I
think
I have to go over there now". Just when she was about to walk away I
said,
"Can I please, please, please take a picture with you?" She stopped,
smiled
at me, and said, "I'm really sorry, but I really have to go over there
now,
but I'll come back later." All the while she was talking the the
television
crews my friend and I were screaming (not constantly), "I love you
Keira!
You rock, Keira! Go Keira!" Unfortunately, we had to leave then to go
buy
our tickets. Also, we did see her on stage in Roy Thomspon Hall when
she was
introduced by Joe Wright, who made a very funny speech, by the way. The
other people who were there from the cast were Rosamund Pike, Brenda
Blethyn
and Mathew MacFadyen. However, on the red carpet, all the attention was
on
Keira. I'm hoping that whenever she thinks of Toronto, she'll think of
me,
by far the biggest Torontonian fan she has who kept screeming her name.

It was last Tuesday (Oct11) on her Domino Hollywood premiere. Me and my
friends went and tried to get tickets for the film but the tickets were
all
gone when it was finally our turn. Anyway, we hung out in Hollywood for
a
couple of hours, hoping to catch a glimpse of her leaving the theatre.
Then
we were told by a guard that the premiere party was right next to the
theatre, so we went there instead. We were told that it was impossible
to
get in unless you had a ticket. We were really persistent and waited
for
like an hour, and then some old guy and his wife who got out from the
party
gave us tickets! So we got in and I stood dancing next to Keira
practically
all night! She was so beautiful and I was in heaven! I can tell you one
thing, she really likes Madonna!!!

I got there at 5:30 in the morning and ran to the red carpet when the gates opened. I was surprised to find an empty space near fantasyland I believe (so I was farther out), so I got in the front and took my spot right in front of the castle. From the time I got there until I saw Keira, I was there about 15 1/2 hours or so!! I did manage to get some autographs, Christian Slater, Kevin McNally and some others, but when I first saw Keira walking down the red carpet I was almost in shock, as you said she is SO much prettier in person. It looked like she had a glow around her or something. As she came up to our area I shoved my sketchbook out, (it was the only thing I had to sign), and she kept getting closer and closer to me. I never thought I would get her autograph, but I did!! She was so sweet to all of the fans. I do have a video of her but I'm not sure how to post it. If I find out how, I'll be sure to send it to you. :) I also have a video of Johnny rushing past and you can kind of see the back of Orlando's head at the end of it, LOL. It was great to hear your story, and I hope you liked mine!
